THE BRIEF
We were commissioned to create a Music Video for the remix created by Minova on a song by Joan Sordé
THE CHALLENGE
The big challenge was the short timeline for pre-production. It was during the winter holiday, so everything needed to be set up online.
On the other hand, we agreed to shoot the entire video with an iPhone. So, apps, learning tips, getting a gimbal, and accessories to change the phone into a camera.
The main learning from this was to stick to one app. To know the native camera from the phone might be the one giving you the best shots. And depending on the way you use the apps, if you don't name the files with the app properly, then finding anything will be a chaos. Native naming will be a nightmare!
Color correction is always a must for good-looking styles.
We were a minimal team. The idea was to reduce everything to the maximum. But this always comes with more work on each one, fewer hands to carry things around, and less anticipation of the next steps.
THE OUTCOME
The outcome is a Music Video full of color and with a touch of Wes Anderson style.
